Morning reading by the breakfasting trough…

The dining area has been re-designed and re-shaped since my last visit here. Whoever designed it clearly didn’t do a mock-up because they didn’t take traffic-flows and food-users into account. There is a bottleneck by the food and coffee area: if one person is using the coffee machine, no-one else can access the bread basket. If one person sits at the table nearest the trough, it is hard for guests or staff to move to the hot-food section.

All-in-all, a Bright Idea, then: Let’s hip up our dining area to make it look groovier! Dig? Who cares if it’s harder to use? I’m not eating there! Top-down planning from someone who doesn’t do the work or eat the food, nor consult with those who do.

The NPU was set to Radio Cheery Voices interspersed with adverts, and some music from the 1990s that I might even listen to. But not this morning, over reading and breakfast. But it does look groovier…

The Wasteland…

March is the cruelest of months.

Today’s work: the 5.1 mix of TOAPP I…

II...

Already superb, today I had a few more suggestions to make than yesterday; but not a lot. A cake-break, a through-listen, and off to Colgan Manor, arriving c. 16.40.

A catching up with Declan on various current DGM / Panegyric arisings, and leaving behind the Korg Synthesiser for Mac that has never worked for me.

Returning to Bredonborough, and a Wife happy to see me home.

A MinxWalk around the town…
